Perianesthesia Nurse Awareness Week 2026

Hello TAPAN Members,

 

How time flies! We just welcomed 2026 a few weeks ago and now we are going into the second month of the year! Here's to a fruitful and amazing year for all of us!

There are so many things happening in the next few months! Allow me to update you on upcoming events in ASPAN and TAPAN.

 

Perianesthesia Nurse Awareness Week (PANAW) is on February 2-8, 2026. 

 

Take time to celebrate YOU! Perianesthesia Nursing is a specialty that is dedicated to the care of vulnerable patients in their greatest need. Celebrate your specialty, educate your colleagues, be proud of the dedication and professional care you provide our patients and families. 

 

Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed an official proclamation recognizing the important role perianesthesia nurses play to provide quality care in the Lone Star State! Print out and proudly display this proclamation in your units and share your PANAW celebration activities for our Eyeopener Newsletter. ASPAN National Conference in San Francisco, CA on April 27-30, 2026.
