The Texas Association of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, as a component of the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, advances nursing practice through education, research, and standards. The Texas Association of Post-Anesthesia Nurses was formed in 1976. The organization became incorporated on April 2, 1984, as a non-profit corporation.
